What is Kerboomka?
Kerboomka combines hip-hop dance moves, with popular music that will make you forget that you are even exercising! The instructors break down the steps, which allows particpants at ALL ages and levels of ability to be successful in learning the routine. As the songs get progressively faster, particpants push harder, ultimately burning more calories. People will leave class feeling fantastic and with some new moves to practice on the dance floor!
During the summer of 2007, creator of Kerboomka®, Kershel Anthony, relocated to the sunny state of Florida. Being a fitness enthusiast his entire life, he decided to teach a group fitness class at his local gym. Kershel was determined to fuse together his expertise in dance with his passion for fitness. The only problem was, he couldn’t figure out how to satisfy the fitness enthusiast while challenging the dance crowds.
It was through this trial and error that his hip-hop cardio class, Kerboomka was born. Kershel broke down his formula in a way that literally anyone could take his class, even if they never danced before. The definition of Kerboomka is derived from the feeling and emotions of percussion and rhythm of music. Kerboomka's® goal is to “give people of all ages, the opportunity to learn choreography and to discover their love of dance through fitness .”
